The year was 1999, Backstreet Boys was top of the charts, and The Matrix was redefining action movies. The Dot Com boom gave birth to long standing giants like Yahoo.com, and the word "Hella" entered the American lexicon.
Something else happened in 1999 that also brought the nation to a stand still, the death of JFK Jr.
JFK Jr. held a lot of weight on his shoulders, namely being a Jr. of the modern most notable president, John F. Kennedy. After the assasination of his father rocked the nation, his mother took the family out of the limelight, and married a Greek shipping mogul.
John and his siblings lived out of the limelight in Europe most of his childhood, but up reaching adulthood, John F Kennedy Jr. came back to the United States to begin his life and possibly carry the torch of his father and be a shining light of the famed "Camelot" empire of the Kennedy's.
JFK Jr. had the looks, brains, and prestige of being a member of American Royalty. He never let it go to his head, and was famous for his mantra "I would rather be a good man, than a great man."
He took this humble drive and sought work with the New York District Attorney, and later used his understanding of life within power circles and politics, creating the lifestyle and politics magazine "George."
JFK Jr. fought hard to shake what was. I own as "The Kennedy Curse," the seemingly systematic destruction of his family members after the assasination of his father, uncle, and mysterious deaths of countless other members of the Kennedy family.
The Kennedy family was keeping his political asperations quiet as he built a reputation for honesty being a lawyer for the District Attorney, and an authority on politics with his magazine George, but others in power circles knew of his next steps to step into his father's shoes.
On the clear night of July 16th, JFK Jr. got into his private plane along with his wife Carolyn, and his sister in law, Lauren Bassett. The three took his Piper Saratoga, and flew along the coast line of long island towards Martha's Vineyard. When the plane made its final radio communication with air traffic control, JFK's plane did an unexplained dive like a stone into the ocean off the coast of the island of Martha's Vineyard.
After 5 days of the nation clinging to the television, the wreckage was found 17 miles off the coast of the island. Before the wreckage was found, there was some hope for their survival. Luggage with Lauren Bassett's ( JFK Jr's Sister In-Law ) washed ashore, followed by other pieces of debris, such as headrest.
After the wreckage and bodies were recovered, the funerals for the three were held, followed by John F. Kennedy Jr's burial at sea. The FAA soon began the daunting task of researching the cause of the crash.
The FAA reported the crash as pilot error, but in a time where the internet and digital media wasn't designed in a way where information and discussion could take place yet, the report by the FAA was unchallenged.
It wasn't until 2007 during the race to the 2008 election, when our editor, Steven Beckmann, was reading a lot of political and mass behavior theory during college. The introduction to the thought patterns of political dynasties by Robert Green, and cultural engineers like Edward Bernays, did Steven begin to look at the world in a different way.
Steven began to see the end of the Bush administration, and Hillary Clinton running for President in 2008 as part of a long history of political dynasties strategizing to make it to the top office in the world, the President of the Free World.
While watchinga presidential debate featuring Clinton and Obama, Beckmann fired up his laptop and began the inquiry of JFK Jr's mysterious death.
He came across a very rudimentary flash movie embedded on a obscure web page detailing different information, than what was available at the time about JFK Jr's death. The man claiming to be in the military, left VERY different details about JFK Jr's Death.
The man in the basic flash movie said his plane downing was intentional, and then gave details further describing what happened. He claimed everything was fine with the flight until the plane made its final call to check with the air traffic control at the airport at Martha's Vineyard.
The plane began descending as common practice, then after radio contact with the tower, a maritime force locked into his planes location and fired what he called a "non explosive, retractable guided impact ordinance." The man gave motive for these actions, then this very basic presentation was over.
Steven wasn't familiar with the terminology, nor did it match up with the basis for many other, if not all other theories online. So, as with most theories or explanations on the internet, the most you can say is "cool story bro" then move on.
Beckmann thought that what he saw was so very different than anything else, that a couple days later went through his history and found the web page he visited with the strange flash movie, but it was gone.
It wasn't until 2014 when Steven was talking to his then girlfriend about politics, did he bring up what he had learned as an alternative idea about the death of JFK Jr.
The very next day, his life was never the same. He would later understand that what he came across was a attempted whistle blower who was using the exposure of a particular stateperson during the run for presidential to spread the information, so he would get some justice for the family. He was unsuccessful, and the fact Steven came across this information was only because of curious persistence to know every corner about a topic, a bit like picking lotto number that won, but threw away the ticket. Why does Steven see it that way?
Well...
Steven would then see his city transformed, and his life systematically dismantled. He then became a leading expert in the program he was subject to for those who the United States government sees as a threat. The Federal Government did all they could to keep Steven from talking about planes, JFK Jr or the people running in the 2016 election. This was the federal government commiting crime, to cover up another one.
What Program he was subjected to is known in circles of targets online in various threat levels by various names. Some call it Gangstalking, Mobbing, and Organized Harrassment. Basically, those forms of abuse are stages in the COINTELPRO program, something he would have to research, to make sense of this form of abuse. Steven describes it literally like God raining your own personal hell down on you.
He faced mental torture, destruction of relationships, drugging, physical violence, poisoning, degradation of health and destruction of his character in absolute detail...all while being gaslit it was all a dream, or that the government was using technology to gaslight him.
Steven would then start the resource web site www.Cointelpro2zero.com to help other failed whistle blowers, government threats, and ostracized targets subject to various forms of this abuse.
