📑 // Debrief - Why is 5G Dangerous if You're on a Plane?

This is due to 5G's ability to interfere with altitude sensors, on planes like Boeing 777
Dubai-based Emirates says because of this, they will be diverting flights from particular US airports
The airline said flights to certain US destinations are suspended “until further notice.”
Flights to Boston, Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, Miami, Newark, Orlando, San Francisco and Seattle are affected

5G interference can occur during the most sensitive portions of flight — takeoff and landing
The altimeter is tied into so many of the planes systems, that even the ability to land in low visibility could be affected
Planes heads up display will also be affected to guide them down to runways
Many more planes besides Boeing rely on radio altimeters, and are expected to be affected as well
Airports which are known for low visibility and low ceilings will experience days of interrupted travel
The FAA 5G Interference Form has been created for pilots when 5G interference is detected
Helicopter Association International has sent out a warning for helicopters as well
